Betty Etiquette is a studio dedicated to playful lettering and illustration to help you celebrate, communicate and stay curious.  Hand drawn on a messy desk in London, UK.

Come on in, sit on down, make yourself at home. I’m Rebecca, an illustrator and lettering artist from London.  I’m so pleased you stopped by to have a little look at what I do and see if it’s your cup of tea.

In my studio I create illustrations and lettering for my brand Betty Etiquette, and take commissions from individuals and brands. I’m the author of two books Modern Calligraphy and Brush Lettering, published by Batsford, that seek to inspire you to try your hand at calligraphy for the first time.

Over the past eight years I have taught creative workshops for children and adults all over the UK in beautiful venues including Liberty London, The Victoria & Albert Museum and Selfridges. And collaborated with innovative brands including Tombow UK, London Graphics, Faber-Castell, Royal Talens, Cass Art and Derwent.

I love connecting with people through creativity and collaborative work and the last few years have reminded me how important and powerful this can be for our mental health and well being. If you’d like to get in touch to talk about how we can work together on events, commissions or products I’d love to hear from you.
